RetailX is back this year, and Content Cucumber will be there! If you’re attending or still on the fence, however, you might still have some questions. What is RetailX doing to ensure attendee’s safety in regards to COVID-19? Where can I find my favorite content-generating vegetable? What even is RetailX?

Well, let’s take a look at some of those questions.

RetailX’s COVID-19 Precautions

COVID-19 is still a real concern, so RetailX is taking numerous precautions to ensure vendors’ and attendees’ safety. In addition to monitoring updates and recommendations from local, state, and federal officials, RetailX is working closely with their venue,McCormick Place in Chicago, IL,to address health and safety concerns.

RetailX’s parent company,EmeraldX, LLC,has created an in-depth response plan to account for COVID-19 before and during the event. McCormick Place has also been working closely with public health officials to ensure they meet standards for holding safe events.

Additionally, RetailX will regularly sanitize and disinfect high-traffic areas, have sanitation stations with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, and implement safe food and beverage handling. They’ve also reconfigured the show floor layout to better allow for social distancing.

RetailX

As we mentioned previously, this RetailX 2021 will be at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. It’ll run from August 24th to August 25th.

RetailX is a great convention to attend for any business involved at any stage of retail. It provides fantastic opportunities to discover new technologies, network, and learn about all facets of the industry.

One of the most informative opportunities, however, will come from RetailX’s keynote speakers. These industry executives will share some of their knowledge while discussing important topics. This year’s keynotes include:

  • How Ulta Beauty is Redefining Post-Pandemic Shopping Experiences. Kecia Steelman, COO, President of International, Ulta Beauty. Tuesday, August 24th, 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM.
