What could a pop culture icon and multi-millionaire have in common with a small startup from Indiana? A lot more than you might assume….

Kim Kardashian carefully constructed a creative brand that consumers could recognize by cleverly capitalizing on her curiously alliterated name. Naturally, so did Content Cucumber.

Sure, Kim K. may have grown up in Beverly Hills with the likes of Paris Hilton, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t have to work hard to get to where she is today. As her mother fully supported her acting and modeling endeavors, Kim once humbly stated that “We grew up with privilege, so we knew our standards were high … [and] if we wanted to keep it, we had to work hard.” So inspiring!

In an eerily similar fashion, Content Cucumber was created due to perseverance and a desire to help fellow entrepreneurs. Although the company has yet to achieve Kardashian-levels of recognition, those at Content Cucumber remain determined to inspire and influence others in a positive way.

With over 137 million followers on Instagram, it’s safe to say that Kardashian understands the ins and outs of social media on a visceral level. Her posts somehow gain millions of likes and comments, despite showing little evidence of keyword research or legit social selling techniques.

Listen, I’m not even going to pretend that Content Cucumber comes near this level of social media prestige, but I’d be lying if I said that we have less expertise than Kim Kardashian. We understand how SEO works. We know all about social selling. We have done extensive research about e-commerce in general. Unfortunately, since we are unable to provide each writer and editor on the team with a personal trainer and tailor (for now), our social media followers are accruing a tad bit slower.

Kim Kardashian seems to have mastered the art of “being famous for being famous,” as most people aren’t quite sure how she achieved such popularity in the first place, or how she continues to show up in the spotlight time and time again. It’s actually strangely impressive how she has managed to appear on her own reality TV show for over a decade without providing any information about her normal day-to-day life… but I digress.

Content Cucumber shares the Kardashian-esque dilemma of informing the public about what we do, but unlike Kim, we want to provide genuine information in an entertaining and inspiring manner. Using “clickbait” is frowned upon, as everyone here believes that useful content is far superior to misleading or untrue content. That being said, feel free to ask us for a writing sample if you’d like to see how we can help your company’s blog flourish, or if you’re just curious about the final 3 similarities between us and Kim Kardashian (it’s OK, we won’t tell anyone).
